Hyderabad: Telangana State Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar expressed happiness over the ongoing developmental works taken up as a part of Palle Pragathi in all the villages during a surprise visit to some identified villages in Kamareddy and Sangareddy district on Friday.

The official, accompanied by Panchayat Raj Secretary Sandeep Kumar Sultania visited Tirmanpally and Gurgul villages in Kamareddy district and conducted a meeting with local authorities, who explained the progress in the construction of dump yard, graveyard, nursery under Haritha Haram programme, clean and green programme etc.

Somesh applauded the local officials for completing the works before deadline and the maintenance of cleanliness in the village.

Later, the officials conducted a tour in Eddumailaram and Guntapally villages in Sangareddy district. The Chief Secretary said that government was releasing required funds to the gram panchayats despite facing financial crunch in the lockdown period.
