The chief minister said that he had talked to the L&T authorities and asked them to take up the works and complete them on war-footing. "Previously there were objections from the people and even the MIM MLAs were against it and wanted the alignment to be changed but now they are saying they are for Metro Rail," said the chief minister. The chief minister said that he had told the L&T authorities that the MIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi and other MLAs would stand beside them for taking up the works.
