Hyderabad: TPCC EC Coordination Committee chairman Marri Shashidhar Reddy on Tuesday said that the election of the Nereducherla municipal chairperson has mocked the democracy.
He alleged that the officials of the State government have become puppets in the hands of the ruling TRS party leaders.
Speaking to the media, he said that the voting rights of the members should be as per the notice issued by the State Election Commission (SEC).
He alleged that the ruling party functionaries had prepared another list of the members with voting rights on Monday.
He alleged that the SEC had connived with the State government, and the Commission had not taken action on the complaints made by the Congress party.
