Hyderabad: Total admission of Covid cases in Gandhi Hospital crosses 10,000 so far
3 newborn positive babies recovering at Gandhi
Hyderabad: Three newborn babies delivered at Gandhi Hospital have tested positive and are recovering and among them one is less than one-month old. Gandhi Hospital, which is the nodal hospital for Covid treatment in Telangana has crossed a milestone of 10,000 admissions so far including the suspected cases.
Gandhi Hospital Superintendent Dr Raja Rao stated that Gandhi doctors are doing their best and he appealed for people's support as a combined effort is needed against Corona pandemic. He said that 290 children under 12 years of age were admitted for treatment . Also, 135 pregnant ladies were admitted and discharged while 37 caesarean sections were also performed.
Admission of COVID cases in Gandhi Hospital, Hyderabad
He said that out of the 4,056 positive patients admitted in Gandhi, 3,423 have recovered and discharged. Total number of patients survived, recovered totally and discharged from ICU were 1,395. Among discharges,
bilateral pneumonia patients were 1,842, cancer patients were 16, paralysis patients were 12, cardiac patients were 38, kidney failure patients were 54, liver disease patients were 24, COPD, bronchial asthma patients were 88.
