In a startling statement, Rani, mother of the late YouTuber Vaishnavi from Jagtial district responded to her son killing her son-in-law Hari Babu stating that there is no wrong on part of her son. She stated that from now on, anyone should tremble at the thought of killing a girl child.
Rani expressed her anger over her daughter’s murder, alleging her son-in-law, Haribabu, and his family are reason for death of Vaishnavi. She revealed that they had even considered killing Haribabu’s mother in public but decided against it, choosing to spare the lives of the three involved.
Rani called for stricter legislation, advocating for the death penalty for those who commit such heinous acts against girls.
