Micro-artist Dr Gurram Dayakar, native of Tulasi Nagar of Jagtial town, had won two more prestigious awards for his excellent skills in the field of preparing micro idols.

Jagtial: Micro-artist Dr. Gurram Dayakar, native of Tulasi Nagar of Jagtial town, had won two more prestigious awards for his excellent skills in the field of preparing micro idols.

At an award distribution programme at Chennai, Dr Gurram Dayakar received Kalam's Book of Records Award for carving Prime Minister Narendra Modi's miniature gold idol, the size of just 0.24 milli grams within 24 hours.

He also received another award 'Kalam Vision-2020' for entering his name three times into the Indian Book of Records, which was handed over to Dr G Dayakar at the same programme in Chennai. In 2019, Dayakar has been honoured with doctorate by the World Records University of United Kingdom.

The family members, friends and the representatives of various public organisations congratulated Dr G Dayakar for receiving two awards at the same time in Chennai.
