Speaking at the distribution of tractors to gram panchayats at Palle Pragathi programme here on Tuesday, he said that since the TRS government came to power total emphasis is on achieving inclusive development.

He said that with the government providing one tractor to every panchayat, the vehicles will be used to water the saplings planted under Haritha Haram programme and to transport garbage besides utilising it for other village development works.

Jangaon that was once regarded as drought-prone region has made strides since the TRS government took reins of the State. "All the villages are getting clean drinking water supply.

With the government also focusing on irrigation, farming activity has also picked up," Errabelli said, heaping praise on Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for introducing several welfare and development programmes.

The Minister told the Sarpanches to focus on sanitation and Haritha Haram. The administration is ready to provide adequate funds for dumping yards in each village, he said, pointing to the Rs 2, 714 crore allocation for the gram panchayats by the government.

Referring to the recently concluded 30-day action plan, Errabelli told the Sarpanches and Panchayat Secretaries to carry the initiative with the same spirit forever.

Legislative Council Chief Whip B Venkateshwarlu, ZP Chairperson P Sampath Reddy, Station Ghanpur MLA Thatikonda Rajaiah, Jangaon MLA M Yadagiri Reddy and District Collector Vinay Krishna Reddy were among others present.
