Karimnagar: When the government asked to purchase food grains from farmers, BC Welfare Minister Gangula Kamalakar started buying leaders, alleged BJP State president and Karimnagar MP Bandi Sanjay Kumar.
Speaking to the media at R&B guest house here on Friday, MP Sanjay Kumar came heavily on Minister Kamalakar, stating that he is a Minister only for media coverage. The MP demanded him to give details the regions he covered in the State as a Minister and ridiculed that Kamalakar is the Minister for Karimnagar city only, not for other regions.
The MP said that he will not sleep until Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and his corrupt Minister are sent to jail. "I will explain to the public all the irregularities taken place across the State with full evidences at the right time," he stated.
Denying the statement made by Minister Kamalakar that he was missing, Sanjay Kumar wondered whether the Minister became blind since he (MP Sanjay) had visited isolation centres at government hospital twice during lockdown and reviewed arrangements and facilities.
It is the BJP, which gave assurance to medical officials, not the ruling TRS, he pointed out. MP Sanjay alleged that Kamalakar using his Minister post to get granite quarries on benami. 'Kamalakar should remember that he got minister post because of me, but not because of CM KCR and Kamalakar must behave accordingly,' he added.
