Due to the power outage and failure of the generators, lifts and escalators at all the stations on Miyapur-LB Nagar stretch stopped working for a few minutes which caused inconvenience to the passengers.

As the issue occurred during the peak hours, the passengers especially the elderly and disabled vented out anger and took the stairs to reach the platform on Wednesday morning.

On June 21, a metro train halted for 20 minutes at Jubilee Hills road no. 5 station due to a technical glitch which disrupted the services on Hitec City and Ameerpet line.

However, the HMRL managing director NVS Reddy dismissed the reports and said that the train timetable was asymmetric as they are being run on Twin Single Line method between Jubilee Hills Checkpost and Hitec City stations.
