Man hacked to death on suspicion of black magic in Hyderabad

A 24-year-old man was hacked to death by the villagers of Adrasupalli of Shamirpet mandal on the suspicion of black magic.
According to the police, a woman G Lakshmi (45) has been ill for the last six years and died on Wednesday. However, the villagers believed that she was dead after one Anjaneyulu performed black magic on her.
The villagers who saw Anjaneyulu at the woman's funeral has thrashed him and attacked him with a sickle. His death was instantaneous. Later, the villagers burnt the dead body and fled the spot.
Shamirpet CI Naveen Reddy inspected the spot and registered a case. A manhunt was launched to nab the accused.
