Nalgonda: Differences in TRS party surfaced during the PACS chairman elections in Sagar and Nakrekal constituencies in the district.

A group of TRS workers obstructed DCCB former chairman Vijayender Reddy to become chairman of Kothapally PACS of Halia mandal in Nagarjunasagar constituency even though TRS has sufficient majority to secure the chairman post of the society.

The Congress candidate Rikkula Madhusudan Reddy elected chairman of the society with the support of directors won from TRS. Shocked MLA Nomual Narsimhaiah suspended all the four directors who worked against the party. Meanwhile, differences in TRS surfaced during the chairman and vice chairman election of Veliminedu PACS of Chityal mandal in the district.

TRS director Raghuma Reddy staged protest against MLA Chirumarthi Lingaiah and alleged that even though the TRS has sufficient majority to secure both the posts, MLA Lingaiah with hidden agenda gave vice chairman post to Congress by directing party 3 directors to absent for the election. Raghumareddy is known as follower of TRS leader Kancharala Krishna Reddy. Rival group of MLA Lingaiah expressed anger over his alleged anti-party activities and group politics.
