Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee (AICC) secretary V Hanumantha Rao on Friday said the decision of the government to construct new secretariat buildings at the existing place was a victory to the Congress.
Addressing the media, he said the Congress has fought against the decision of the ruling TRS to construct secretariat buildings at Bison Polo Grounds.
He said with the decision of the government to not construct secretariat buildings at Bison Polo Grounds, the sportspersons would be benefited.
He demanded that the government encourage sportspersons and wanted the government to not use the Lal Bahadur Stadium for political purposes.
