Nizamabad: Following State RTC JAC call, RTC workers on Monday tried to lay siege to MLAs' houses in the joint Nizamabad district. In view of this, police in large numbers have been deployed at the MLAs' houses.

The RTC workers tried to lay siege to the house of Nizamabad rural MLA Bajireddy Govardhan but the police prevented them. The workers submitted a petition to the MLA's son.

In Kamareddy, RTC employees laid siege to Government Whip Gampa Govardhan's house. Demanding solution to their issues, RTC workers staged a dharna in front of Government Whip Gampa Goverdhan house in Kamareddy. They took our a rally from new bus stand to the house and raised slogans against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao.

RTC JAC alliance leaders submitted a petition to Assembly Speaker Pocharam Srinivasa Reddy in Banswada town. They asked the Speaker to bring their legitimate demands to the notice of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and persuade him to fulfil their demands.

The police arrested RTC workers, while they were trying to barge into the house of MLA Shakeel in Bodhan town. Cops prevented the workers from entering inside the houses by setting up barricades at the Whip's house.

RTC workers lied down on the road and raised slogans against the CM and Whip.
