Nod to fill 1,036 posts in new government medical colleges in Nalgonda, Suryapet

Hyderabad: The Health Department has been given the nod to fill 1,036 posts including 132 Assistant Professor posts and 656 Staff Nurse posts for the newly established Government Medical Colleges and Teaching Hospitals in Nalgonda and Suryapet.
The posts will be filled by way of Direct Recruitment through Departmental Selection Committee.
A related GO numbered 46 was issued by the Finance Department on Wednesday. Of the total 1,036 posts, Nalgonda and Suryapet institutions would get 518 posts each.
The other sanctioned posts include speech therapist, child psychologist, lab technician, radiographic technician, physiotherapist, pharmacist, junior assistant etc.
Meanwhile, the Junior Doctors Association welcomed the government's decision to take up permanent recruitments in both government colleges and hospitals in Nalgonda and Suryapet.
It appealed to the authorities to cancel the contract notification to fill teaching faculty posts in GMC, Mahbubnagar given on Tuesday and instead take up permanent recruitments.
