One interstate burglar held

Hyderabad: The Cyberabad sleuths nabbed one notorious house burglar Amol Ashok Mirzapure (30) for involvement in 15 cases pertaining to Cyberabad, Rachakonda, Hyderabad, Warangal Commissionerates and Sangareddy district. The accused identified as Amol Ashok Mirzapure is a native of Maharashtra.

The police recovered 62 tolas gold ornaments worth of Rs 20 lakh from the possession of the accused.

According to Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar, the accused is an electrician by profession. He earlier worked as home guard in Nagpur.

Later, he quit his job and became an active and professional house burglar to earn extra money for his lavish lifestyle.

The accused was involved in 18 cases in Maharashtra and was previously arrested by the police of Citabuldi of Nagpur in 2014.

The Commissioner also said the accused used to visit Hyderabad by train and observe locked houses and target selected flats during night time by breaking locks and main doors.

After committing offences, he used to move back to his native place and dispose the stolen property.
