Peddammagadda to get new Urban primary health centre
Hanumakonda: MLA Naini Rajender Reddy and District Collector Chahat Bajpai on Tuesday laid the foundation stone for an Urban Primary Health Care Centre at Peddammagadda Colony in Warangal West constituency. The facility will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1.43 crore to provide accessible and quality medical services to residents of the locality.
Speaking at the programme, Naini Rajender Reddy said Peddammagadda had remained neglected for several years and assured residents that development works would be taken up in a phased manner. He said efforts were being made to ensure the availability of doctors and permanent medical services at the new health centre, enabling residents to access treatment without travelling to distant areas.
The MLA said improving roads and drainage would be among the priorities in Peddammagadda. He also assured residents that necessary funds would be allocated for the construction of Ambedkar Bhavan.
District officials, health department personnel, public representatives, Congress leaders, activists and local residents attended the programme.
