Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat on Monday felicitated 33 provisionally selected SCTSI/RSIs at the Commissionerate in Neredmet.

Hyderabad: Rachakonda Police Commissioner Mahesh M Bhagwat on Monday felicitated 33 provisionally selected SCTSI/RSIs at the Commissionerate in Neredmet.

As part of Community Policing initiative, Rachakonda Police has organised free coaching to the rural and unemployed youth of Rachakonda jurisdiction to equip them to appear in all competitive examinations especially for the Police department.

The free coaching centres have been established in 2017 at Amberpet CAR Headquarters, Ibrahimpatnam, Pahadishareef, Choutuppal, Bhongir (Bibinagar) with the co-ordination and help of District Collectors of Rangareddy and Bhongir Yadadri Districts.

B Shivadhar Reddy, Additional DG Personnel attending the programme congratulated the students on their success and advised them to serve the common people when they join the service.

He appreciated efforts of CP in pre recruitment training for SIs and also for UPSC Civil Services, IFS and CAPF exam in which many candidates mentored by him are selected.

Mahesh M Bhagwat, CP Rachakonda has wished the successful candidates should aim higher and while quoting late President A P J Abdul Kalam, he said "lower aim is crime. Dream high and put in efforts to achieve the goal". He advised them to prepare for State and UPSC exams.

33 personnel were selected as Sub-Inspectors of Police (Civil/AR/TSSP) in which 12 Civil SIs, 18 Armed Reserve SIs, 2 TSSP SIs, 1 SFO. Apart from the above, about 46 students got selected in various competitive examinations like Railways, TSPSC Group-IV, VRO and Junior Panchayat Secretary etc.
