Rains likely in parts of Telangana today and tomorrow

According to the Meteorological department, there could be rain, thunderstorms, lightning and gusty winds in several districts in the state on Sunday and Monday.

Light rainfall is predicted in isolated areas of Khammam, Warangal, Nalgonda, Ranga Reddy, Mahabubnagar, Hyderabad, and Karimnagar. Light rainfall in a few areas may also take place in the state on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The above-mentioned weather phenomena may happen because of the formation of cyclonic circulation over northern Tamil Nadu and southern coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh and a trough from south coastal districts of Andhra Pradesh up to northwest Bay of Bengal.

Isolated areas of Bhadradri Kothagudem, Ranga Reddy, and Medchal Malkajgiri districts witnessed rainfall on Saturday.
