Due to the pressure formed in the north region of Bay of Bengal, Telangana may witness incessant rainfall for the next five days, according to the Senior Meteorological Officer Raja Rao. He said that the state would experience rains for five days starting from Sunday.
Rains will lash the state including Hyderabad in 24 hours. The weathermen said that rainfall is also likely to occur in Coastal Andhra and Rayalaseema.
As the monsoon has covered the state entirely, heavy rains lashed many parts of the Telangana in the last 24 hours. Bejjunur in Komaram Bheem Asifabad district has recorded the highest rainfall of 10 cm followed by Sarangapur and Bajarhatnur which received 7 cm.
