Rains to lash Hyderabad today

Parts of Telangana including Hyderabad will receive rain today accompanied by gale and thunderstorm, said the weathermen. The reason for the rain is due to the upper air cyclonic circulation and trough.

Heavy winds with a speed of 50 km/hr is also said to be billowed across the state. However, the officials also said that maximum temperature will be recorded 2-3 degrees higher than the normal range.

On Friday, the city witnessed heavy rainfall leaving all the roads inundated. Trees were uprooted in the areas like Banjara Hills, Mehdipatnam, Saidabad, Himayat Nagar, Saroornagar due to the downpour.
