M. Krishna, who was working as Deputy Secretary to Governor was given a fond farewell on his retirement by the officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan on Friday at Raj Bhavan.

Hyderabad: M. Krishna, who was working as Deputy Secretary to Governor was given a fond farewell on his retirement by the officers and staff members of Raj Bhavan on Friday at Raj Bhavan. In the capacity of Deputy Secretary to Governor, Sri Krishna was in charge of Household staff in Raj Bhavan apart from various other administrative duties.

Sri Krishna who has put in 38 years of service in the government in various capacities in Secretariat including two Chief Ministers and seven Chief Secretaries in the capacity of Personal Secretary. He has been working as Deputy Secretary to Governor in Raj Bhavan since September, 2016 and retired on Friday after attaining the age of superannuation.

Speaking on the occasion, K. Surendra Mohan, Secretary to Governor said Sri Krishna is a very efficient and sincere officer with lot of patience and integrity as otherwise it is very difficult to work in the office of Chief Secretary in Secretariat, which requires more attention for details and long hours of work.

A.P.V.N. Sharma and A.K. Mohanty, Advisers to Governor, Arjun Rao, Joint Secretary, L. Vidyasagar, Liaison Officer, P. Gouri Sankar, Press Secretary also spoke on the occasion.

Surendra Mohan, Secretary to Governor felicitated Sri M. Krishna by presentation of a shawl and memento.

G. Thimmaiah, who was working as Laundry Superintendent in Raj Bhavan was also given a fond farewell by the officers and staff members on Friday, on his retirement after putting in a total service of 30 years in various capacities.
