Hyderabad: MLC and former MP of the TRS Kalvakuntla Kavitha on Friday exhorted the people to read and follow the preaching of Bhagavadgitha to move ahead on the right path. Geetha Jayanthi Mahotsavam held at Thyagaraya Bhavan in Chikkadpally here. Kavitha performed puja to a Gomatha (Cow) as part of the ritual of Getha Jayanthi celebrations.
Speaking on the occasion, the former MP has stated that it is essential for the people to recite the Bhagavad Gita and listen to its message and preaching. Though there are many books we used celebrate Jayanthi is held only for Bhagavad Gita which is our greatness, the MLC felt. She said that, "we are fortunate to know of micro and spiritual things of Gita through this programme. Lord Krishna gifted Githa to the people to move on the right pathsThe Bhagavad Gita indeed teaches the generations to go on the right path, she noted. Kavitha also said that every work we do have its own result. We need to read Gita and listen to its preaching's to go ahead on the right path she said. It has formed part of our lives and one has to tread on the right path".
