Samarshimha triesto revive sagging morale of Cong cadre
With all major leaders from Congress party migrating to other parties, former minister and senior Congress leader DK Samarashimha Reddy while addressing a press meeting in Gadwal said that the party is an ocean and if one or two people leave the party it does not have much impact.
Gadwal: With all major leaders from Congress party migrating to other parties, former minister and senior Congress leader DK Samarashimha Reddy while addressing a press meeting in Gadwal said that the party is an ocean and if one or two people leave the party it does not have much impact.
He tried to usher new energy and hope among the Congress cadre in Gadwal district on Friday and said, "Congress is a vast ocean, if one or two leaders leave it, there won't be any major impact on the party.
Leaders come and go, but with Congress cadre having their strength, the party is always live in the district.
"There is no need for the Congress workers and supporters to get dejected or depressed.
Time has come to teach a lesson to those who have deceived the party and the people and Congress workers must work to help win the party in the next parliamentary elections," said Smarashimha Reddy.
Adding further, he reminded that in year 1977 the party also faced a similar setback by the leaders and people though that Congress would not even win a single seat, however, it won 41 seats in the State.
Congress is always for the poor and down trodden and it will stand for their welfare.
"There is a lot of difference between the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
KCR is thinking that the Assembly type elections will be repeated. But his dreams will never be realised.
This time Congress will definitely come to power at the Centre and will provide justice to the poor and downtrodden in the coming days.
And therefore the Congress workers and activist must be confident and should not lose hope just because some people are migrating from Congress," said Reddy.
He also said that KCR is thinking that TRS will win 16 MP seats, however, the ultimate decision of the people will come out only after the conclusion of the Parliamentary elections.
DCC president Obedulla Kotwal, DCC vice presidents Ragarao, Srinivasa Chary, NP Venkatesh and SA Vinod Kumar, TPCC secretary, CJ Benhar and Laxman Yadav participated in the programme.
