Senior assistant held in Kothagudem for taking bribe
A senior assistant has been arrested for taking a bribe here on Thursday at Kothagudem. Narsimha Rao was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from a vehicle mechanic, Vidyasagar Rao.
A senior assistant has been arrested for taking a bribe here on Thursday at Kothagudem. Narsimha Rao was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 1000 from a vehicle mechanic, Vidyasagar Rao.
Narsimha demanded the bribe to issue a family member certificate applied by Vidyasagar's mother Punyavati after her husband's death. The officer has been delaying the process for the last four months.
Based on the complaint lodged by Vidyasagar, the officials of the Anti-Corruption Bureau laid a trap and caught hold of the senior assistant. He will be soon produced before the ACB court in Hyderabad.
On Wednesday, a Village Revenue Officer working with the Tahsildar office in Shamirpet has been arrested by the ACB who caught him red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 20,000 from Mallesh who applied for Pattadar passbook.
