Minister Harish Rao asked Muslims to celebrate Ramzan at home in the view of coronavirus pandemic. Greeting the people on Ramzan, Harish Rao said that the festival symbolizes sacrifice and holiness.

Rao wished the Muslims to celebrate Ramzan in a cheerful way, the festival which sets an example of communal harmony and service-oriented devotional instincts and fraternities. The state government has recognized as state festival, he said. The minister said that the government is striving for the welfare of the minority community.

Harish Rao on Sunday participated in the dry day programme in Siddipet and visited Ganesh Nagar raising the awareness on the programme. He visited TPTF state vice-president's house and showed the stagnated water. He asked the citizens to allocate 10 minutes every Sunday to clean the surroundings and remove the stagnated water to prevent the spread of diseases.
