Bhupalapally: District SP Sirisetti Sankeerth directed police officers to work relentlessly in crime control while giving highest priority to public safety.
At the monthly crime review meeting held at the District Police Office, the SP reviewed police station performance, pending cases, investigation progress, law-and-order issues, and crime-control measures. He urged that pending cases be resolved quickly and victims be delivered justice through quality investigations. To curb thefts he instructed increasing patrols and surveillance and to make effective use of CCTV cameras and technology.
He ordered strict action against illegal ganja transport and sales, and said POCSO cases must be investigated with special care so victims receive speedy justice.
He advised that case registration, investigation details, and progress be updated promptly in CCTNS.
He asked for special focus on cybercrime, road accidents, gambling, and other antisocial activities, and directed strengthening of village level policing.
He suggested wide public awareness so people can make full use of the National Lok Adalat to be held on the 12th of this month, and asked that cases eligible for settlement be resolved in coordination with the legal department.
