A stalker attacked a woman and her daughter with a screwdriver here at Jubilee Hills and then committed suicide by running in front of train late on Saturday.
According to the police, the accused Srinivas Reddy (31), a resident of Sravanti Nagar in Jubilee Hills had been harassing a 26-year-old girl to accept his love. On Saturday, he went to Sravanti's home and quarrelled with her mother. He then attacked the woman with a screwdriver.
The stalker then attacked the girl who reached the home at the same time and fled the spot. Locals who heard their screams came to their rescue and shifted them to a hospital. A complaint was lodged with the police.
However, the police who began investigation found the Srinivas dead on a railway track near Secunderabad.
The victims who are said to be the natives of Tamil Nadu were in critical condition.
