Suryapet: Collector Amoy Kumar calls for peoples involvement in growth of village
District Collector Amoy Kumar stated on Wednesday that villages can be developed with the collective efforts of the people.
Chilukur (Suryapet): District Collector Amoy Kumar stated on Wednesday that villages can be developed with the collective efforts of the people.
As part of the 30-day action plan, he visited Ramapuram village of Chilulur mandal in the district. Speaking on the occasion, he urged the people to get involved in the 30-day action plan and make it a grand success.
Improving sanitation, planting saplings under Haritha Haram and preparing budget for funds to be sanctioned to the villages are main topics in state government's 30-day Gram Panchayat programme, he explained.
He enquired about the details of the village from village secretary Sandeep and urged people to pay taxes to Grama Panchayat to develop their village in all aspects.
He inspected the colonies in the village and planted sapling under Haritha Haram. Local officials, local body representatives and villagers participated.
