Mahbubnagar: The SVS Medical College bus ferrying doctors from Hyderabad to SVS Medical College at Yenugonda in Mahbubnagar met with an accident at Gollapally village near Lalitambika Temple on National Highway 44 on Tuesday.

According to eyewitness, the speeding bus hit a tractor with water tanker while it was crossing the highway at the Lalitambika Temple at Gollapally village on the Highway. It is said the SVS bus driver was at a very high speed, while the tractor was crossing the highway. Not able to control the speed, the bus rammed into the water tanker, causing grave injuries to the bus driver. The 15 medicos travelling in the bus were also injured and were immediately shifted to the hospital for treatment.



The condition of the bus driver is said to be very critical.

The Jadcherla police reached the spot and registered a case and investigating the matter.
