The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education has announced several measures for government junior colleges, including facial recognition to monitor student attendance and the installation of reverse osmosis (RO) drinking water plants across the state.
Officials also reviewed the breakfast and mid-day meal schemes for students. The Board announced a new syllabus and changes to practical examinations for first-year Intermediate students.
Meanwhile, a 15-day Telangana Innovation Hackathon is under way to encourage students to develop innovative ideas and problem-solving skills.
