Eligible graduates in Telangana can register to vote in the upcoming Graduate MLC elections until the final day for filing nominations, Chief Electoral Officer C. Sudarshan Reddy has announced.
The deadline was extended after technical faults and server failures on the Election Commission’s online portal prevented many graduates from submitting applications. Reddy said the problems were being addressed urgently and online services were being restored.
The draft electoral roll is due to be published on the 25th of this month. Objections and complaints about applications will be accepted from 25 November to 10 December. Election officials are taking steps to complete the remaining processes and ensure eligible graduates can vote.
