Telangana govt. declares public holiday on April 11 for Lok Sabha election

In the view of Lok Sabha election on April 1, the Telangana government declared a public holiday for all the schools, colleges and government offices. However, the schools and other government offices which have been designated as polling centres are given two-day holiday i.e, on April 10 and April 11 for the arrangements.

It has to be notified that the government announced paid holiday on the election day for all the employees working in various industries, factories and shops.

With respect to it, a notice has been passed to district collectors by the state chief secretary SK Joshi on Friday. The government also decided to declare a local holiday on the results day i.e, on May 23.
