On Sunday, Minister Sridhar Babu inaugurated the 'Billions AI Center' in Hyderabad. Speaking on the occasion, the minister emphasised on the need to examine the right way of functioning of AI tools while using them, highlighting that responsibility, transparency, and accountability are crucial in AI usage.
According to him, it was equally important to take into account the difficulties presented by technology. He stressed the necessity of introducing the technological solutions which would be favorable for the students. He suggested using the technology effectively while paying special attention to the issue of cybersecurity. He also claimed that using the technology in conjunction with traditional education might prove more fruitful.
He observed that technology is bringing about significant changes in the education sector and expressed hope that AI-based solutions would further enhance the student learning process. He expressed happiness that students are utilizing educational technology for practice and learning. He further remarked that the need to prevent data leaks has become even more critical following the NEET paper leak incident.
According to the 'Impact-2025' survey, 77% of children using educational technology utilize it for practice and learning. It was noted that technological solutions need to be made available to address challenges faced by educational institutions. Minister Sridhar Babu stated that modern technology plays a pivotal role in the security of digital systems and data analysis.
