Pointing out that some politicians are making tall claims of Centre's major contribution to pension schemes, but in reality Centre's share was negligible as far as pensions are concerned, he stressed.
Telangana is giving Rs 2,016 per month as pension amount and it is the highest in the country, the minister said also reading out pension amounts given to beneficiaries in other States in the country.
According to Errabelli, pension given to each individual in Rajasthan is Rs 750, in Maharashtra it is Rs 600, in PM Narendra Modi's State Gujarat it is Rs 500, in Uttar Pradesh and Punjab also it is Rs 500 only, he said.
