TGTET-Inservice Teachers-2026 results announced, 70.07% qualified

The Director of School Education and Chairperson of TGTET released the results on Saturday for the ‘Telangana State Teacher Eligibility Test’ (TGTET-Inservice Teachers-2026) conducted for in-service teachers working in government, aided, and local body schools across the state. Based on the notification issued on July 21, the online examination was held as a Computer-Based Test (CBT) in three phases on September 8 and 9. A total of 24,986 candidates applied, out of whom 22,477 appeared for the exam. Of these, 15,749 candidates qualified, recording an impressive state-wide pass percentage of 70.07%.

In this examination, 4,942 candidates appeared for Paper-1, with 3,398 (68.76%) qualifying. Similarly, in the Paper-2 (Mathematics & Science) category, 6,720 out of 9,131 candidates (73.60%) qualified, while in the Paper-2 (Social Studies) category, 5,631 out of 8,404 candidates (67.00%) qualified.

Education Department officials stated that candidates can download their results and mark details from the department's official website (https://schooledu.telangana.gov.in) or obtain them through nearby Mee-Seva centers.
