Three of family die in road accident in Moinabad
A woman and her kin were killed in road accident while returning from Chevella after tying Rakhi to her brother.
Moinabad: A woman and her kin were killed in road accident while returning from Chevella after tying Rakhi to her brother.
Three family members – Jyothi, her husband, Pocharam Bal Reddy (45) and 12-year-old daughter died in the accident occurred on Chevella – Shamshabad highway on Thursday evening.
However, Jyothi's son (13) escaped with injuries. The family lives in Subhanpur village of Ranga Reddy district.
Jyothi and her family went to the residence of her brother, Srinivas Reddy, on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan to tie Rakhi to her brother.
While returning on the two-wheeler, a JCB coming in the opposite direction rammed into their vehicle. The mother and the daughter died on the spot.
The husband was stuck under the JCB. The JCB driver ran away from the spot.
