Hyderabad: All India Congress Committee secretary V Hanumantha Rao on Tuesday said that he would fast unto death if the Jyotirao Phule Bhavan was not constructed at Amberpet in Hyderabad.
Addressing the media, he said that few people have tried to encroach on the land on Monday night and he was there to stop them.
He said that land was allotted for the Bhavan and grant was also given.
The lands given for the public purpose are being grabbed by the unlawful elements due to the failure of the government.
He said that land records have been tampered with to favour the land grabbers.
