After the boy complained to his parents -- Pebbeti Ashok and Annapurna, they took him to a local hospital. However, the doctors failed to detect the issue and the boy was shifted to a private hospital in Wanaparthy.

The doctors were shocked after seeing the syringe needles in the X-ray report. The doctors performed surgery and removed a few needles from the body. The remaining needles will be removed during another surgery, doctors said.

Based on the complaint lodged by the boy's parents, the police registered a case and trying to find out how the needles were injected. SI Waheed said that the case will be investigated based on the medical report and action will be taken against those who caused harm to the three-year-old boy.
