Yashoda Doctors Successfully Treat Complex Pacemaker Infection
Nagarkurnool: Doctors at Yashoda Hospitals, Somajiguda, successfully treated a patient suffering from a persistent pacemaker infection that had not subsided despite undergoing four surgeries within six months. The patient’s family approached Yashoda Hospitals after repeated infections caused severe difficulties.
After thoroughly reviewing the patient’s previous medical history and treatments, senior cardiologist Dr Jagadish Madireddy identified the underlying cause of the infection and developed a specialised treatment plan. Following the treatment, the patient has remained free of pacemaker infection for the past two years and has recovered completely, doctors said.
Dr Jagadish said pacemaker infections could become complicated if not treated properly. Controlling the infection and following an appropriate treatment plan are crucial, he said. He stressed that even seemingly minor medical procedures require the right decision from the outset and precise execution. Pullareddy Hospital Managing Director Akuthota Saibabu and Yashoda Hospitals Manager Umesh attended the media conference.
