Tirupati: Give wide publicity to TTD-run temples says JEO Veerabrahmam

TTD JEO Veerabrahmam holds review with the officials over the development of various TTD-run temples, in Tirupati on Thursday

Tirupati : TTD JEO Veerabrahmam on Thursday reviewed with the officials concerned over the development activities of various TTD-run temples across the country through a virtual meeting.

As the Maha Samprokshanam for Srivari temple at Rampachodavaram is scheduled between May 17 to 22, he directed the officials concerned to take up wide publicity campaign in the surrounding areas, invite srivari sevaks and ensure successful conduct of the event through proper arrangements. He also said as the Maha Samprokshanam of Srivari temple at Jammu was also scheduled between June 3 to 8, more staff from TTD headquarters here need to be deputed to make arrangements. “The accommodation and food facilities for these staff also need to be ensured. The development of landscape, floral and electrical should be made in an attractive manner. Concerned people need to take up wide publicity about Maha Samprokshanam by arranging hoardings, flexes etc. especially near Vaishnodevi temple for the information of devotees.

The first annual fete of the renovated Vakula Mata temple at Peruru Banda near Tirupati needs to be celebrated in a grand manner. The Govindaraja Swamy temple authorities should make arrangements to present sare to Tataiahgunta Gangamma on May 13 amidst a colourful procession with Kolatam and Bhajan artistes as in last year,” he directed the concerned.

The JEO also reviewed the Maha Samprokshanam of Sri Govindaraja Swamy and Sri Lakshmi Narayana Swamy temples in Tirupati.

Among others, he instructed concerned HoDs of various temples to get feedback from devotees and Srivari Sevaks to make improvements. Superintendent Engineer Satyanarayana, Special Grade Deputy EO Varalakshmi, Deputy EOs Shanti, Vijay Kumar, HDPP Secretary Srinivasulu, Programme Officer Rajagopal Rao, DFO Srinivas, Garden Deputy Director Srinivasulu and others participated in the virtual conference.
