Vijayawada: English books distributed to students

Vijayawada: President of Al Muneer Foundation, an NGO, Shaikh Muneer Ahmed said English language is very useful to pursue higher education and asked the students to learn the language.

He distributed 'Tenses and Verb Forms' English books to the students of Government Urdu Junior College and SNMC Urdu Girls High School in Wynchpet here on Thursday.

Al Muneer Foundation has donated the books to the students to help them improving the English language. Government Junior College principal Shaik Ahmed, college lecturers and students present on the occasion.

Speaking on the occasion, Muneer Ahmed said the State government is encouraging English medium education and converting all government schools into English medium from Class I to VI from the next academic year. The college staff and students thanked the donors.
