MP MVV's family members rescued from kidnappers after 48 hours
Visakhapatnam: The kidnap case of Visakhapatnam MP and realtor MVV Satyanarayana's family members was cracked successfully by the police.
When the MP's son was alone at his residence in Rushikonda, a group of kidnappers sneaked into his house and took him under control. They threatened him to listen to what they say and act accordingly.
The kidnappers made the MP's son contact his mother and asked her to come to Rushikonda house stating that he was not keeping well. When she arrived later, the kidnappers retained both and made her contact MP's close associate auditor G Venkateswara Rao, known as GV.
However, even after 48 hours of kidnapping, the accused took care not to raise any suspicion. Whenever, the MP contacted the family members, the kidnappers made them speak to the MP without giving a scope for any suspicion.
Meanwhile, when the MP was trying to contact GV continuously from Hyderabad he was not able to get in touch with him directly for almost a day which the MP found unusual.
It is the same reason that made Satyanarayana to contact the City Police Commissioner CM Trivikrama Varma on Thursday morning and made him trace GV's location.
Based on the request made, the police traced GV's location and found out that he was at Rushikonda. By the time, the police were trying to reach GV, the kidnappers planned to shift the kidnapped persons to other location.
Meanwhile, special police teams nabbed the kidnappers while on the move and rescued MP's wife, his son and GV.
According to the police, the motive behind the kidnapping was money and there is no personal rivalry involved.
