Woman along with two children commits suicide in Vizag over alleged harassment

In a tragic incident, a woman from Marripalem Prakash Nagar in the Visakhapatnam city committed suicide by jumping into the water tank of her apartment with her two children on Tuesday midnight.

The deceased have been identified as Sandhya, Gautham (9) and Alekhya (5) belonging to the apartment watchman family. On the information of the locals, the police reached the spot, recovered the dead bodies and shifted them to KGH for post-mortem.

However, the suicide case of mother and two children took a twist where the mother committed suicide along with her two children as she could not cope with the alleged harassment of her aunt.

The police said that the full details of the investigation will be disclosed after a probe and interrogating Sandhya's husband.
