Deepika Padukone And Vikrant Massey in Prep-Mode For Chhapaak

Deepika Padukone along with co-star Vikrant Massey, filmmaker Meghna Gulzar and veteran writer Gulzar, began their preparation for her most-anticipated film Chhapaak.

Sharing a picture from the script reading sessions, she captioned the image as: "All things are ready, if our mind be so-William Shakespeare #Chhapaak @meghnagulzar @foxstarhindi @vikrantmassey87"

Deepika is all set to play acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal in Meghna Gulzar's upcoming film and has begun the script reading session with her team.

Deepika will not only act but also co-produce the film with Meghna and Fox Star Studios. The actress will reportedly stay in Delhi to understand the character better.

Vikrant Massey, who will be seen sharing screen space with Deepika for the first time also shared candid stills from the script session. He wrote, "As actors, we live for this moment. Feeling blessed with the team during our #Chhapaak reading session...@meghnagulzar @foxstarhindi @deepikapadukone"

In her earlier interview, Deepika Padukone hailed the film are an important story, which needs to be told. She said, "On the day of Holi, I am off to Delhi for the shooting of 'Chhapaak'. We will start shooting it on Monday. It's a very important film and I feel that the story which we are showcasing in our film needs to be told"

The movie will mark as a comeback for Deepika Padukone, post her marriage to Ranveer Singh.
