Corporator M Lakshmi Bai seeks funds for works

Vivekanandanagar: Local Corporator M Lakshmi Bai on Thursday submitted a representation to GHMC Zonal Commissioner Mamatha seeking funds for taking up development works, including pending drainage set-up and CC roads.

She wanted the works taken up early to solve the problems facing people who have been suffering severe inconvenience. The corporator pleaded with the commissioner to visit the area to become familiar with local issues. Mamatha responded positively. She assured the corporator to release funds in a week's time.
