Lady jewel thief held, booty recovered

Chandrayangutta: The Chandrayangutta police on Wednesday arrested a woman property offender involved in three offences. They seized silver, gold ornaments and Rs 2,000 net cash from her possession.

According to police, B Keerthi (30), a resident of Saroornagar moved around in crowded public transport buses and allegedly flicked away gold ornaments from the women passengers. When she was moving under suspicious circumstances, police took her into custody and on inquiry she confessed to the offences. She has been remanded to judicial custody.
