Passbooks handed over to farmers

Ramachandrapuram: Sangareddy district Joint Collector Nikhila on Saturday handed over passbooks to 18 farmers, including one Rajamma, after supervising a survey of their lands in Velimela village of R C Puram mandal. After inspecting government lands, the JC advised the Revenue department personnel to protect government lands from illegal occupation.

She directed Tahsildar Shivakumar to take strong action against those resorting to grabbing of government lands. Among those present on the occasion were RI Raja VRO Mallesham. Earlier , the JC visited a local temple and offered special prayers. Priests of the shrine blessed her and offered 'prasadam'.
