Soft Tennis team selected

Vijayawada: The Soft Tennis seniors team was selected which would represent Andhra Pradesh at the Seniors National Soft Tennis Championship which will be held at Lucknow, said the Soft Tennis state president P Murali on Monday.

He said that the selected players would participate at the national championship which will be held from March 27 to 31, organised by Amateur Soft Tennis Federation of India and Uttar Pradesh Soft Tennis Association.

The selected players for the championship are (men) G Ajay Kumar, Shaik Nagoor Vali, K Suhrud, Ganesh Raghavasai Nandan, P Preetham, C Anand Kumar, P Jayakrishna Vamsi and M Yudheer.

The players in the women team are K Chaya, N Anusha, S Yeshasvi, P Lavanya and K Nikitha. The district sports authority chief coach A Mahesh presented the outfit to the players which was sponsored by East Godavari district soft tennis association president and corporator N Sujatha.

State Soft Tennis Association treasurer Abdul Kareem, joint secretary Damodhar Reddy, Coach Sivarama Krishna, district treasurer Dilip Prasanna Babu, Prakasam district secretary Trinadh and others were present.
