Free swimming camp for children
A free summer swimming coaching camp is being held for children aged between 5 to 14 years at the swimming pool located at Gokaraju Gangaraju guest house, Undavalli.
A free summer swimming coaching camp is being held for children aged between 5 to 14 years at the swimming pool located at Gokaraju Gangaraju guest house, Undavalli.
The swimming camp was organised by Aqua Devils Welfare Association (ADWA). About 150 children joined the swimming camp which started on April 23 said ADWA president KS Ramachandra Rao on Friday.
Speaking to The Hans India Gokaraju Gangaraju said that his affection towards the children made him conduct the swimming coaching classes at his guest house swimming pool. He said that parents were showing interest in bringing their children for the swimming camp.
The president of ADWA said that the swimming camp was for three weeks and the coaching camp is half the way. He said that next week the children would be given coaching in the river he added.
He further said that ADWA was a 20 years old organisation with about 1600 members. He added that every year ADWA conducts swimming competition in January in the Krishna River.
