Finance Secy pats women participants in sports meet

Guntur: Finance department Special Chief Secretary, Mukhesh Kumar Meena distributed prizes to the winners in the sports meet conducted by the AP Secretariat Employees Association in the third block in the Secretariat on Friday. He distributed prizes to the winning teams of cricket, shuttle and running.

Speaking on this occasion, he appreciated the employees for initiating the competitions in the new secretariat and added that a sports meet would strengthen employee relationships. He appreciated the women employees for actively participating in the sports meet. K Venkata Rao, a silver medal winner in the All India Civil Services Swimming in 2016 and B Sujatha, who bagged silver medal in the South Asian Table Tennis graced the event.

The Association Sports joint secretary, Pavan Kumar said that they would host such sports events at ANU and IJM premises until January 8. Over 700 employees participated in the sports meet that began on Friday.
